Adán Ortega Nominates USC Student for Pritzker Emerging Environmental Genius Award

Adán Ortega, Principal at Ortega Strategies Group, nominates USC student, Faith Flores as a candidate for the 2019 Pritzker Emerging Environmental Genius Award  for her work in creating Calor, a wearable watch app, after two years of collaboration with farmers, farmworkers, and regulators.

The Award recognizes and supports  a scientist, entrepreneur, engineer, activist or artist—under the age of 40—who stands poised to make a game-changing difference. The award is not limited to any field of research or approach, reflecting UCLA’s approach of bringing diverse talents to address  global problems.  The winner will be announced on November 7 at UCLA, and will take home $100,000. OSG applauds the Anthony and Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation for their $20 million gift which makes this possible and their commitment to our collective future.
